You will receive psychotherapy from a licensed clinical psychologist. Our treatments are designed to help you cope with a variety of issues ranging from day to day problems, relationships, depression, anxiety and other mental health problems through the use of evidence-based practices. 

If you reside in California, we are more than happy to provide you with telehealth services. We use a HIPAA compliant platform which makes our sessions safe and secure. We offer tele-health services for patients with a variety of presenting concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

N-648: Immigration Evaluations for Citizenship Exam Waiver

We also conduct evaluations for Medical Disability Exception (N-648) as some applicants may qualify for an exemption from the English Language and US Civics Exam requirements for US naturalization due to the presence of physical, developmental or mental impairments. Such disability or impairments can be a result of conditions such as dementia, head injury or intellectual disability.

Neuropsychological Evaluations

Do you or your loved one have concerns about memory and concentration? If you are wondering if Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, past strokes, head injury or other medical/neurological condition are a cause of your memory problems, then a neuropsychological evaluation might be right for you.

Neuropsychological evaluations can help you and your medical providers understand how the different areas of your brain are working and can provide information on your areas of strengths and areas of weaknesses. Testing is usually recommended when there are symptoms or complaints involving memory or other aspects of thinking. This may be signaled by a change in concentration, organization, reasoning, memory, language, perception, coordination, behavior or personality. The evaluation involves a review of relevant records (e.g., medical and psychiatric), a comprehensive clinical interview and neuropsychological testing (focused on the standardized assessment of attention, memory, language, executive function, and visuospatial abilities). Following the evaluation, a family conference will be held where test findings and treatment recommendations will be discussed with the patient and their family members.

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

A psychological evaluation will help determine the psychological impact that the verbal, physical, or sexual abuse had on an individual. We offer services for: U-Visas, T-Visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), hardship evaluations, and political asylum.

U- Visas: If an individual experienced substantial mental or physical abuse due to being a victim of a serious crime that occurred in the U.S. 

T-Visas: For victims of human trafficking and their immediate families if they agree to assist law enforcement in testifying against their perpetrators. 

Violence Against Women Act (VAWA): For men and women who have been physically and/or mentally abused by their U.S. citizen spouse. 

Hardship Evaluations: A citizen or resident of the United States applies for the immigration waiver because the deportation of a family member will cause extreme hardship for themselves or their family. 

Political Asylum: An individual has been subjected to mistreatment and abuse in their country of origin due to their political beliefs, religious affiliation, ethnic identity, or gender.
